Matt Roberts Fat Loss Plan - combo of exercise and healthy eating rather than dieting so you should feel full after the meals which are delicious and healthy but you've got to exercise nearly every day

You need to find some variation on the theme of move more and eat less that works for you. If you don't have a sweet tooth (or have the willpower to get over it if you do) then low-carbing is very effective. I like to eat loads (I cannot cope with being hungry), so I do lots of exercise instead - I run before my kids get up (5:40am, anyone?) a couple of mornings a week and exercise in the evening about 5 times a week. And walk everywhere I can. It is insane, but I am comically greedy and have a really sweet tooth, so it is the only way for me to lose weight at all.

I've just posted on another thread about Exante. It's meal replacement (which I find better as it takes the whole food thing out for a little while) very low calorie diet and similar to Cambridge diet. It depends what you want and how overweight you are. I'm thinking about starting it soon to drop 20lbs, weight loss in the first few weeks is phenomenal then it evens out.

I'm taking my diet advice from a combination of the Primal Blueprint Diet and the Bulletproof Diet. They are both practical versions of the 'Paleo' diet. Google them and see if they are for you. I am losing steadily so far and I enjoy eating plenty of filling and healthy 'proper' foods. The only thing I eat a lot less of, is the unnecessary low-nutrition starchy stuff - bread, pasta, cereals, beans.

Don't be nervous about starting a new eating plan. You don't have to feel hungry, or do hours of strenuous exercise, to lose weight. You don't even need iron willpower. If you find a diet you enjoy and stick to it 80% of the time, the weight will start to drop off steadily.
