Slimming World and sensitive teeth?

Am in the third week of SW and today I mentioned to DH that my teeth were agony - really sensitive and sore. DH has been eating my SW recipes and says that his are agony as well. We have both been suffering in silence for the last couple of days.

Has anyone else on SW experienced the same? Why is it happening? Will it resolve or is there something missing from the diet that is causing this (can only think sugar and fat, which can't be a bad thing!).

I had felt that SW was a really healthy way to lose weight, but my teeth seem to think otherwise...

What exactly have you been eating?

We are on the Extra Easy plan and have followed it pretty rigidly so con carne's, curry's, tagine, carbonaras etc from the cook book - the only thing I can put it down to is a ten fold increase in fruit and vegetables (acidic?). And I suppose there is a big decrease in milk (calcium?), although I have made up for that with Muller LIght!

Just wondering if others have experienced the same?

I've done SW for a few years now & can honestly say I've never heard of this before.

I have been in a lot of classes and different groups and never heard of it at all.

Why not pop over to our SW thread and ask there? here

Seems unlikely anything to do with the diet.

I don't know about SW but if your teeth are that sore you should see your dentist. I always had sensitive teeth and thought thats all it was, sensitivity. Turns out I grind my teeth in my sleep and that's what causing the sensitivity. It can have long term unpleasant effects on your teeth so def. worth a talk to your dentist.
