I'm having a hungry day. Porridge and prunes for breakfast as usual, ham, cottage cheese and pickles for lunch. Thinking of having some fruit and or yogurt as I'm starving.

Drink plenty too, thirst and hunger feel identical at first until you're dehydrated and then you feel "thirsty". I find protein or slow release energy stuff like oats best for hungry days.

I drink lots of water and eat lots of salad or veg sticks and fruit

I'm starving today, I just had a bag of rocket salad with a shallot chopped up and sprinkled over. Really, really helps with taking extra water- phew, very hot!

Soup and a slice of wholemeal bread

I try and fill up on hot drinks. Milky coffee works for me.

I had one of these days yesterday... I am attempting some sort of medium carb vegetarian plan and had , as snacks [ I don't normally eat snacks but had to yesterday as was in danger of ramming cake ]...

Slices of watermelon
Cubes of feta cheese
Small bag of apricots
total 0% fat free yogurt

Get some really low fat soup ( I make a basic spicy minestrone) and keep it in the fridge. Then have it as and when you need. I tend to have a small ramekin when the kids have tea to avoid snacking.

Apples and chicken work for me! Protein is best for filling you up.

Extra protein. Will make you feel satisfied and will not raise blood sugar or insulin levels.
