Well i had boiled eggs for breakfast, a bacon sarnie and banana for lunch and cottage pie for dinner. Yum.

Otherwise i love porridge, tomato/bacon & lentil soup, Leeks & mushrooms in philli sauce on toast and loads more....

Fish pie:
Fish pie mix + tin tuna + hard boiled eggs + peas all cooked in skimmed milk, topped with thin layer of mash mixed with lemon zest and served with plenty of veg.
Stirfry is good.
Tandoori chicken.
Sweet potato wedges instead of regular wedges/ chips.
Ainsley's couscous.
Roasted veg - on their own/ in a wrap/ with some pesto and pasta.
Soup.
Running out of ideas now. No wonder my healthy eating plans usually fail!

Oh yum; fish pie especially. Thanks everyone. I also might do a roast butternut squash with cheese.

Baked beans on toast. Low Gi and very filling. I usually get the beans with sausages in....yum!

I second porridge.

Chick pea curry is one of my faves: 2 cans chopped tomatoes, 2 cans chickpeas, onions and whatever chopped veggies you want,100g lentils, tomatoe puree, usual curry spices.....soooo filling and yummy I can't rave about it enough!

Jacket spuds with low fat fillings, eg tuna, cottage cheese. Sometimes I use canned mackerel (not low fat, but loads of healthy omega 3s and high in protein so keeps you full)

I've been eating like this for two weeks and lost 7lb. Smile

Soup!!

Very good for dieters, as it's mostly water. Grin

If you are a low-carber, have a lump of cheese or chunks of ham on the side.

Vegetable curry (no cream obviously but you can top with a dollop of fat-free Greek yogurt)

Hearty Vegetable soups.

Bean burritos with a little cheese and lots of salsa, avocado, olives, more Greek yogurt.

Stir fries made with tons of veg, brown rice, pineapple, cashews.

Tagines with chickpeas, chicken, squash, carrots and WW couscous.

Search for recipes on the BBC Good Food website or try to get the Ottolenghi "Plenty" cookbook from the library. Particularly look for Vegan recipes as they are high in fiber and volume and low in fat and calories.
