So do these Zaggora Hot Pants work? and how?

New year, new weight loss resolution and I am determined to shift this last stone. Trouble is, I have a feeling that no amount of weight loss is going to rid my of my post-2-c-sections pouch Sad

I keep seeing adverts for the Zaggora Hot Pants and wondering if they might help.

Pretty much all of my excess weight is located around my thighs and tummy (I recently got refitted into a 28 inch backed bra so there's none up there!) and I tend to wear support pants pretty much constantly to squish it all in and smooth it all out as it is - it would be great if I could be getting rid of the lumpy bits at the same time....

But as far as I can see, the pants just cause you to sweat to reduce the fat cells under the pants so surely this isn't a long-term solution? Take them off, drink a large glass of water and a few hours later - the fat cells are all rehydrated and back to their normal bulging over my jeans selves surely?

If you've tried them, would you recommend them?

No idea, but I wouldn't pay money for them!

Might be good holder-inners.

They're over £40 - although Mumsnetters get 20% off at the moment which is what got me interested.

Apparently, they're not great at holding you in but do make your skin look smoother after wearing them. I'm still wondering for how long though

I got a pair of these off of groupon for £19 so about 50% off and they have been on offer a few times. I have only worn them to the gym a few times although i am planning to wear them on a daily basis for two weeks when i start my diet. When i did wear them though I can tell you I had a noticable difference in sweat. This is probably tmi but when i go to the gym in normal gear I am sweaty and my pants are a bit damp but when i wear the hotpants after a workout i can literally wring the sweat out of my pants, they are that wet from sweat. So i guess if I did that everyday for two weeks there would be a bit of a difference. i'll let you know when i start wearing them properly :)
