probably been done to death, but hey ho...

I'm returning to WW and as it's changed slightly with new points etc, I'd love some low point meals to keep up my sleeve as I seem to run out of points very quickly!

For example, after what feels like a fairly ordinary and reserved breakfast and lunch, I've now only got 11 points left for the rest of the day.

I did have good intentions and made zero point celeriac and apple soup but it's gone straight down the toilet

We're off to PILS later for more feasting, so no doubt any thoughts of dieting will be out the window today, but for future reference, what are your standby virtuous meals?

Omelettes are good low pp options. You can add in lots of 0pp things like mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, peppers etc, then if you wanted a small amount of ham/bacon or something like that.

Soup is a good low pp option for lunch if you get the right one! I make a lovely spicy butternut squash soup that is 2pp for the whole pan.

I usually have oat so simple for breakfast with skimmed milk.

At dinner time, i have discovered the virtues of swede. If we are having a meat and 2 veg dinner i have mashed swede instead of potatoes.

Pasta with mushrooms and philadelphia is yummy too. Extra light philly is 3pp for half the pot. Fry the mushrooms in frylight then when they are done stir in the philly and pasta.

Prawns are also low in pp. I love prawn stirfry with noodles. 100g King prawns is 2pp stirfry ,veg 0pp, noodles 50g is 5pp, add some chill for a bit of flavour and a splash of soy sauce is a yummy low point meal.

I find protein for breakfast fills me up more so often have about 70g lean bacon (2) with a scrambled egg (2) and a pile of mushrooms plus a slice of melon . If I have this ie not cereal, then I allow 250ml skim milk for teas.

For lunch today I'm having butternut squash, carrot and onion soup with a bit of lime juice and cumin, all free. Then blueberries with 30g WW creme fraiche (1). That's not enough so will add in something like a crumpet (2) and XL Philly (1 or 2 depending on amount) or would do a 2 egg omelette had I not had eggs for breakfast.

Greek salad is good as feta and olives fairly low . Chicken breast (3 or 4) plus 150g new pots (3) plus veg. Roasted veg and feta. Lean ham and smoked salmon both low.

these are great, thanks. Is swede 0pp? If so, that's good to hear as I just got an enormous one in today's veg box.
