Y'know how you're supposed to drink lots of water when on a diet...can I have zero fat Robinsons orange juice in it?

I know the answer is probably yes but I see so many gym-bunnies with bottles of clear water so was wondering if it made a difference?

do you mean diluted juice or squash (with sweeteners)?

I don't really have an opinion, other than 'what's wrong with water?', just mooching about in unanswered messages . . .

I think it's the aspartame in it that's the unhealthy bit plus the sweeteners mean that your body then goes on to crave sugar, the same goes for diet drinks.

What is your worry? Whether you will stay hydrated or whether it's forbidden when dieting?

If it's hydration then it doesn't matter what you drink, within reason. Water is the 'best' thing to drink because it has nothing else in it and is a quick, easily absorbed hydration aid but if you want to drink squash, diluted juice, milk, fruit teas, tea, coffee etc etc etc, then you should. No point being utterly miserable and forcing a drink down you don't particularly enjoy. I do drink water but not as my sole drink. I also like milk, fruit teas and organic squash. Sainsbo's own double strength squash range is about the only supermarket one iirc that doesn't have sweeteners like aspartame in it.

Water best.

Fat free irrelevant even full sugar coca cola is fat free!

If you must drink squash better if sugar free although the aspartame not great for you either.
