can anyone help me please! I am trying to lose weight and need a sports bra, i am a size 20-22 and bra size 42ff roughly, depending on make. I tried to shred today but cant do any run or jump movements as my boobs weigh a ton each! Many thanks

Order some online try on and see whats good? As you loose weight both back size and cups will reduce, so choose one that fits on loosest setting as you can tighten it as you loose weight.

I am a 38EE so not much smaller and I bought some cheap sports bras from Tesco ( I had exactly the same issue with the boobs when I tried to do exercise!) and they actually work perfectly! They were about £4 each!

I'm a similar size and bought 2 shock absorber bras from amazon. Very good at coping with the strain.

LucyInTheSkyWithDiazepam · 06/04/2011 20:34

I can vouch for the shock absorber bras too. Bought them from ebay about £10 each.

www.lessbounce.com/acatalog/Enell_Sports_Bra.html this sports bra is excellent. It's a bit old fashioned looking, but very effective at almost eliminating bounce completely. Under a t-shirt, who cares what it looks like?

Enelle bras are very good a bit on the pricey side but your boobs wont move

orangehead · 06/04/2011 20:42

Just realised mablemurple link is an enelle bra

mablemurple · 06/04/2011 21:01

Great minds, orangehead Smile

I'd second LilllyLovesLife's recommendation of the Tesco ones - they are comfy and supportive, I've washed them a few times and I don't know that they will last for long, but at £4 a time and given that our shape will change as we lose weight, who cares?

This one is fantastic www.bravissimo.com/products/lingerie/sports-bras/freya-active-underwired-bra/black/fyj3bl/?show=16&sort=1 I'm 38F and never before have my boobs bounced so little!

marriednotdead · 10/04/2011 21:46

Hiya. I'd really recommend this Elomi one as that brand is specifically designed for women with curves rather than just big boobs.

I used to fit them (I'm a bra fitter) and they were really popular as they were so firm.

cheers ladies went for a shock absorber one, just waiting for it to arrive now. Am doing 30 day shred and have to do something else instead of jumping jacks, so looking forward to actually being able to do them!

Forgot to link properly www.bravissimo.com/products/lingerie/sports-bras/freya-active-underwired-bra/black/fyj3bl/?show=16&sort=1 I'm also shredding. I had a shock absorber one before and do find the freya one is better for me.
