I need basic, simple advice.

Carbs bloat the shit out of me and i look like a baloon. They make me feel awful.

I feel better when i eat less of them.. but i end up feeling like im missing out and only manage a few days.

This is bcause i have no recipies and no clue.

can anyone help

Today ive had and am planning to eat
Dorset cereals ( yep, low carb. not no carb..)
Salad ( leaves, cucumber, tomatoes, peppers, spring onion, bbqed chicken breast
blackberries
tomato soup.

but i want chilli con carne. can i have that? what about the kidney beans?

If you want a book, this is a very user friendly low carb diet.

The idea here is that you cut out all carbs and then add them back in one at a time to see how they affect you. Chili is fine, kidney beans are carby though. Only problem is, what do you have it with?

i think im going to stuff it in peppers.
is that ok?

So what sort of thing can you NOT have on a low carb diet? Is it true that ANYTHING white is carb???
I love mash, salad spuds, pasta, rice, toast (although iv changed to wholemeal bread)

You can't have anything that you've mentioned to start with on low carb. It works well for some people but it's way too restrictive to work long term imo - you eventually crack, return to eating normally and it all piles back on (I am veggie though, and lots of people will disagree as it does allow you nice things like cheese and cream!) Your best bet on low carb diets are things like steak or fish with a creamy sauce and veg or green salad.

How about considering low GI instead? That will allow brown rice, salad spuds, wholemeal bread etc in moderation. I've lost far more weight doing this, and it feels like something I can stick to long term as you feel so good doing it. I keep carbs low though - no more than one serving a day, and then only brown rice, wholemeal pitta or muesli.
