flussymummy congratulations on your weight loss! That is incredible and very inspiring! I need to lose about the same post pregnancy. Can I ask - did you exercise as well and how closely have you followed dukan? I toyed with doing it but chickened out but maybe I will think again now! Grin This thread is very helpful - lots of great tips.

moonstorm, thanks for the pesto tip, I shall try it.

This is awesome I read that same thread and thought, right. I'm having chicken and pesto for dinner!!

Here's a suggestion from me: grilled portobello mushrooms filled with goats cheese and sprinkled with parsley, with baby leaf spinach. If you need some carb, add small portion of savoury rice or red pesto pasta. NOM NOM NOM.

Well done flussymummy Smile

I am trying to lose about half a stone to begin with (I'm little but rather thick around the middle!!) then see how I get on and if there's any more to come off. I already lost about half a stone from lowering carbs but then I started running again and felt that I couldn't do both. Have just eaten about a kilogram of curry this weekend though so feeling rather disgusted with myself.

We are having Aubergine bake tonight.

Sliced aubergine - fry off first
Sliced Mozzarella
1 tin of chopped toms or a carton of passata.
fresh herbs

Layer aubergine & mozz tin a casserole dish, pour over toms & herbs & bake in the oven.

Can't we ask MN for a Low-Carb section in the recipe section? There is already a lw-fat one
