I'm getting close to the stage where I will be happy with my weight and of course looking forward to not having to pay! The only thing is, I was talking to one of the other members the other day who has been 'at target' for quite a while. She was saying that she has to be careful not to lose any more weight or she will have to start paying again. Now I'm worried about deciding that I'm at target too soon and then losing more weight while I'm getting used to how much I can eat and still stay the same. After all, there is bound to be a period of adjustment isn't there? I was wondering how people decide when to stop, or is the consultant supposed to tell you? There are a couple of people at the club who actually look thin to me but they are still dieting (sorry, food optimising!). I suppose one option would be to just stop going to the club and avoid paying that way!

As someone who got to target this week ()as far as I can gather, you have a 3lbs lee way each side of your target before you have to pay again. So, if you do lose a bit more weight, as long as it's not more than 3lbs, you'll be OK. If you decide that you want to lower your target, it has to be at least 6lbs less than your original target. They also suggest you have one more HE (A and B) in order to maintain.

I set my target at the weight I got to when I last dieted (pre baby) which is probably about 3lbs heavier than what I could ideally be. Does that make sense at all?!

Well done Tommy!! You're allowed that smug grin!

Yes it does make sense thanks. You've explained something the other lady said about "having to lose another 1/2 stone if she loses too much weight now" I didn't get a chance to ask her what she meant as I had to rush off but I understand now.
