Ok ladies - here it is - a place to confess all of your syns and show off when you've been good!

Hopefully we can all get inspiration and meal ideas from each other this way, so please join in.

I'll start with my diary from yesterday:

RED day

Free food:
Salad (lettuce, tomatoes, radish, onion, beetroot, orange pepper)
Tinned pilchards in tomato sauce
Bernard matthews sage & onion turkey slices
Lean roast pork
Baby carrots
Sprouts
Roast butternut squash
2 pears
Natural fat free set yoghurt

Healthy extras:
28g puffed wheat (supposed to have scan bran too but I forgot)
1 hi fi bar
250 ml semi skimmed milk

Syns
3 teaspoons jam (made the yoghurt more interesting!)
150 ml vanilla milk (the one with the mystery syn value!)
Gravy (1 syn worth)

Yesterday - Red day:

2 slices wholemeal bread (small loaf) HE B with 2 laughing cow light triangles (part of HE A) and lean ham

3 satsumas, 1 small banana, apple

Cold chicken, ham, beetroot, lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, peppers, onion, kraft italian dressing, 1 tbsp branston (2 syns), 1 tbsp garlic mayo (? syns)
Fat free yoghurt.

Fillet steak, 227g baby baked potatoes (HE B), 2 laughing cow light trianges (part of HE A), sprouts, cauliflower, broccoli, baked onion.

Was all looking good up until then, but then had:
1 snack size twix (10.5 syns)
2 lindor chocolates (7 syns)
1/2 bag pretzels (?? syns)
Discovered that if you eat the lindor with the pretzels at the same time then you can recreate those chocolate covered pretzels that you used to be able to get! Oh dear - doesn't bode well .

I shall resolutely continue to post on here even if the rest of you aren't joining in!

Today - red day:

2 sveltesse yoghurt smoothies
2 small bananas
1 apple
sandwiches from 3 slices burgen soya and linseed bread (counting as 2 HE Bs), 3 laughing cow light triangles (3/5 of HE A), ham, pickle (2 syns).
cottage pie (topped with squash and swede mash), red cabbage, sugar snap peas.
milk (didn't measure, but should take up the remainder of my HE As)
snack size bounty (7 syns)

Bacon, eggs, mushrooms

Pork fillet, mashed swede + squash, sprouts, cauliflower, gravy (2 syns)

Hi Fi bar (HE B)
Sveltesse yoghurt smoothie
Pear
Satsuma

3 slices ww brown danish (HE B) with 3 laughing cow light triangles, tbsp pickle (2 syns)

Then about 5 choc and hazelnut biscuits at NCT class - oops!!

Hi all
So finally decided to rejoin slimming world on tuesday after gaining nearly a stone after having my daughter a year ago and i need to lose it!! I am very highly motivated when i set my mind on something and my goal is to lose 1 and a half stone (i also have been doing at home work outs and purchased a fitmaxx 5 and i feel better already.)

So im a little bit rusty with slimming world as it has been over 4 years since i last went to group.

This is my menu for the first week could somebody tell me if its ok.

Monday
Breakfast: muller light & fruit
Lunch: beans on wholemeal toast
Dinner: diet coke chicken & boiled rice
Syns prunes/quavers

Tuesday
Breakfast: tom on wholemeal toast
Lunch: boiled egg salad
Dinner: mushy pea curry & rice
Syns prunes

Wednesday
Breakfast: weetabix with fat free yougurt & raisons.
Lunch: S/W tom home made soup
Dinner 1 cal spray fried eggs with S/W chips & beans.
Syns biscuits

Thursday
Breakfast: 2 boiled eggs on wholemeal
Toast
Lunch: sw tom soup
Dinner: s/w spag bol
Syns crisps

Friday
Breakfast: beans on Toast
Lunch: sw tom soup
Dinner: pasta packet made with water
Syns crisps

Saturday
Breakfast: weetabix fat free yougurt & banana
Lunch: courgette & potatoe sw soup
Dinner: lean home made meat balls with fat free sauce and spaghetti pasta
Syns popcorn

Sunday
Breakfast: bacon an tom sandwich with a side of 1 cal spray mushrooms
Lunch: sw courgette an potatoe soup
Dinner: sunday roast
Syns gravey & stuffing

I will snack on fruit an carrot sticks etc will add more veg to my plan next week also goin to replace sugar with sweetner and use red top milk in my tea which will be my healthy A.

Will this be a good first week have i done this right?? Any advice would be so helpful.

Hi Carolek123
That meal plan should get a weight loss - have you weighed in yet?
The only comment I would make is more 'speed' and don't forget that raisins are syns. Good luck x

Oh thank you i didnt realise they were Grin lol ill stay away from them lol i started today first weigh in tmrw so be next tuesday i will notice. Whats the best speed foods to eat?? Xx
