Weightwatchers - fruit now free????

I was in a coffee shop the other day and there was a WeightWatchers leader (recognised her from when I used to go Blush ) at the next table with a group of women to whom she was explaining the plan. I think I heard her say that there have been changes to the plan to take account of how your body processes food, and as a result fruit is now ZERO POINTS??? Can this be true? I can't see any evidence that it is true on their website, but I am fairly sure this is what she said Confused . Is it true????

I have a small baby and she won't take a bottle of expressed milk so I am a bit stuck and can't go to a class at the moment, but want to rejoin - if fruit is free I might start sooner rather than later...

Thats great Stewie and a good incentive for the new plan. I just wish it was starting this week as I WI on thursdays but I am going to Chiquitos on sunday and could have done with the spare points you get on the new plan. As it is i won't get the new plan till the following thursday so will have to save points for the rest of the week to balance out my chiquitos

It all looks very interesting. I stopped doing WW years ago as found I could eat crap and still be hungry and within my points. I like low gi and wonder if this new plan will make the way of eating in general healthier.

Will def be having a look although am in Budapest and can't join the UK site on line as don't have a UK credit card. Hopefully i will be able to work it out somehow.

Quite exciting for WW!

Ive tried it and was starving the whole time as 21 points doesn't really go that far long term.

I also (like the article) would choose something naughty with similar points over a banana.

Will watch this space

Will be watching this thread ....I have done WW on and off for years, about 10 years, mainly to keep on top of my weight and in recent years to lose baby weight. I never go to weigh ins but have all the books and weigh myself at home once a week (sat morning when I get up, after a poo but before breakfast and most definitely naked.....Grin).
I'm planning to go to a meeting with a friend on Monday to learn about the new system. I like the idea of not being as hungry!!!
I'm in a weight loss competition with a very arrogant man at work, final weigh in being 21st Dec....I have to beat him, so for that reason, I think I might actually go to weigh ins for the next few weeks!
