OK so I know it's great that they have fed and nurtured my child, but they used to be pert! There must be SOME exercise I can do to help hold them up a bit?! Any suggestions (bar surgery) welcome...

No suggestions but my absolute sympathies in solidarity. Tragically I think mine were never pert as such but now being the wrong side of 39 and after 4 babies they are downcast at best.I would get them 'done' but having fantastic norks would then make the tummy tuck inevitable.

I chest press like a demon at the gym using the heaviest weights I can manage for 60 reps as I'm paranoid about keeping them where they should be. Don't know if it helps but they're still perky.

If you've only recently stopped bf, it does take a while for them to get back to normal, ime.

Am just begging to wean at 1yr so not sure how long I'll continue with the morning and evening feeds. But good to have some hope they can get back to something approaching normal. Chest press it is then! :)

Mine were OK before baby, now they are womble's noses.

surgery methinks...

mine look awful! They exploded (5 cup sizes up) when I got pregnant, now they look like golf balls in socks!! eugh. YUK! losing baby weight will only make it worse... nothing for it but to get pregnant again lol!

I stopped BF 13 years ago ... how much longer will I have to wait for them to get back to normal?

@NattyCats ... womble's noses! Grin

Apparently you can work the muscles under the breasts to make them look slightly lifted but as the boobs are made of tissue and fat they wont ever bounce back up, I read it in a magazine yesterday... mine are definately saggier since my 2 kids but had myself measured properly for new bras and in clothes I look much perkier!!! Although I think my boobs are saggier my husband hasn't noticed so wondering whether they've always been droopy Hmm

I think it's a really good idea, as emmie says to get measured regularly for a bra and have found M&S to be good in that respect.

I'm nearly 52 now and realise how I've "gone south" in the past 4/5 years.

Luckily my husband doesn't seem to mind. I do try and treat myself to a nice new bra and pants every so often from Ann Summers which helps my self-image!

But unfortunately I've never found exercise helps much. Maybe that's because I'm older and it's too late to rectify that way?

Has anyone tried these special creams you can get e.g. Clarins etc? I haven't as the cost seems prohibitive.

emmie31 · 03/11/2010 13:26

I've never tried the creams, I reckon that they probably tighten the skin and thats all, my husband is the same as yours he doesn't mind how my boobs look, as long as i've still got some! Smile
