How do I make sure I don't get saggy skin after weight loss?

I am 16 stone. I have already lost 2 stone and I am determined to lose the rest. What I don't want is lots of excess skin. There is a girl in my weight watchers class who has lost 100 pounds which is amazing but ( I hope this doesn't sound ugly) she looks doughy almost. How can I escape the same fate?

Agree with BB. I have recently lost 30lbs and am very firm still as exercising loads.

Some info here. As long as you exercise and don't lose the weight at an excessive rate - ie more than 2lbs per week - it shouldn't be a problem.

kosing weight from 16 stone is unlikely to be a problwm unles you are either 4'2" and a size 30 or aged 72 (or both).

Losong 100lbs is in a different category to losing 3-4 stone. And even then she may sind her skin does shrink back a bit over a year or two.

Whether you get excess skin is determined by how much weight you lose and in my opinion you really need to be in the 4stone plus category to even start worriying about it, age (skin loses elasticity obviously), exercise (improving muscle tone under skin can minimise the look of excess skin) and genetics (no advice there),

Better for you to use control knickers and lose the weight than worry undult about excess skin.

I have changed my shape (defined my waist) and I was always rather straight with a belly using Acupressure, it is sooo easy and it is good for you.
