Breastfeeding bride?

Help gratefully received! So my first baby is due in a few weeks, and I’m hoping to breastfeed. She will be 5 months old when we get married - we booked and then IVF worked quicker than expected, wonderfully. It’s an evening only do and pretty informal, at a lovely local indoor/outdoor venue where we will have a ceremony under the trees (British rain permitting!), a street food van and non fancy tables to sit at for food then dancing inside etc until midnight. This means I’ll be in my dress 5pm-1230ish. I do love more traditional wedding dresses and don’t want to worry about my size (I am about a 16-18 now at 36 weeks plus belly), so was planning on wearing quite a structured white dress (the one I love is corset on top, a line skirt, lace and cotton). However I just (stupidly) had the blinding realisation I’ll need to pump and/or feed in that time! How did other mums manage if you got married while still breastfeeding? Did you buy a dress that was easy to take a boob out or what? Any tips on styles if so? What do I do if I’m laced into a corset? Take her into a tiny loo and a friend to lace me back in, or should I get another dress? Any help and advice gratefully received, we can’t change the date now and to be honest I don’t want to either as I’m excited and mostly do not want to inconvenience people I know have booked flights / holiday to come over here.

Don’t have any advice to offer, but I will be in a similar situation when I get married this summer! Wedding dress has already been ordered and paid for so can’t change it now.

I would invest in a good quality pump and start pumping once bf is established. You can freeze milk to give to baby if you prefer not to feed during the wedding. I'd feed/pump literally before you dress. Wear breast pads in your bra . You would probably be good for at least 4/5 hours . If you feel milk coming in could you nip to a room for a quick pump. Both breasts would be around twenty minutes.
