Help! Wedding dress low cut & tan

Hi all! Wonder if anyone has tips. After my dress fitting I think it's a little low cut (and not flattering on my saggy breasts) but I'm wanting to keep the shoulders open. Is there any best practices when it comes to alterations?

Also, I'm no spray tan girl and my fiance hates it. But, as I am deathly pale naturally I would like SOME colour on my chest. Do makeup artists usually do this or is there a tan out there for a very subtle healthy glow?

I would recommend the Bellamianta Skin Perfecting Illuminating Bromzing power (a bit of a mouthful).

Subtle tan but lovely glow. I use it on my face and always get compliments.

I think your breasts look great in that dress. The only part I don't like is the sleeves but that's just me. Skin's lovely also.

I would beware of any colour you put on your chest coming off on the dress and staining it. I think the cut and skin colour are both absolutely fine

Could you put some sort of modesty panel in? Or a differnt type bra? I think it looks fine though.

no help with tan unfortunately but make sure it doesn’t get on your dress whatever you use

Thanks so much I'll look it up!

I think you look lovely - including your boobs!

Two suggestions that I’ve never used but might be worth investigating - tit tape if it helps you feel more confident. YouTube for advice on how to use it for some support, and that moisturiser you can use daily to build up a ‘glow’. I’m afraid I’ve not used it but it looks subtle and I suspect is less likely to stain.

I know it's not recommended but for a one off I'd be tempted to go very gently on a sun bed. There seems to be a lot of trial and error with spray tan. If you do have it get it done professionally

I would use one of those gradual tanning moisturisers if I were you - assuming you still have at least a week till the wedding. That way there’s no risk of overdoing it and also won’t smear onto the lovely lace edges that f your dress (makeup/bronzer WILL do this).

I don’t think the dress is too low cut personally. If you’re not happy with your breasts have you tried a really good bra fitting? Rigby & Peller, local independent boutiques or Boob or Bust online often recommended.

Just a tip that if you spray the inside of your dress with hairspray after you apply any sort of colour tan, bronzer or makeup it will stop the colour from transferring to your dress.

I think your boobs look great and I think pale skin is lovely but if you want to give yourself a confidence boost Dove Gradual Tan lotion is very good and smells nice - just get the face lotion too so it blends well x

mum2be99 · 05/10/2023 16:54

Thank you it seems gradual moisturiser tan is the way to go ❤️

Your boobs look great and your skin is a beautiful tone.
Would you consider skipping the fake tan and just using an illuminating moisturiser or something like Charlotte Tilbury flawless filter on the area instead?

mum2be99 · 01/11/2023 08:10

Thanks so much @McQueensMuse ! I haven't considered that, but sounds great as I really want to avoid the mess of fake tan. I will look into it

You're very welcome @mum2be99 if you don't want to shell out for the CT one (it's extortionate) revolution beauty do a really good dupe of it.

Enjoy your special day.
