Song to walk down the aisle to

If you had to choose one song to walk down the aisle to, what would it be and why?
Currently planning my wedding for next year and the one song I've always wanted to walk down the aisle too, my MIL had for her wedding last may, so I can't really choose it. Now really struggling with what song to choose!
Recommendations needed! ❤️💍

We had a string version of Sweet Child of Mine. It was fab. But if you want the song your MIL used just use it! No one will care or likely even notice

We walked down the aisle to an instrumental version of 'If we hold on together' from the Land Before Time.

DSC loved the film as littlies and we all walked down the aisle together as a family.

Try a rewritten version - the piano guys do a lovely version of it! Or a cello version.

I walked down to "All you need is Love" I'd wanted it since the scene with the orchestra in Love actually.

I think the song is enough of a clearly wedding-y choice that it will be fine for you to have it too. (Compare to Sweet child of mine, - while fantastic, would perhaps raise a few eyebrows if you duplicated it in a similar way as a much rarer choice.)Tell MIL how much you love it and have always wanted to use it and I’m sure she’ll be happy.

We set a lot of store by the hymns we picked for our wedding. There was one though that we were both really keen on at the last moment and added, we couldn’t really account for why - turns out, it was because my DH’s best man had used it at his own wedding a month before! We had obviously both heard it there and loved it and it had stuck in our heads. But best man and his wife were both chuffed to bits that we used it- they felt honoured that DH, having been their best man, had included this point of connection in his own wedding. So all good all round.

This is what I walked down the aisle too aswell! It was particularly emotional as my dad was terminally ill (he passed just 4 months later)💙

Snap! I had the instrumental version of this. If we were getting married now though, I think I'd go for Be My Baby by The Ronettes

I walked down the aisle to an accounting version of Bon Jovi's thank you for loving me, sang by a female soloist. It was a surprise for DH, and that was at a church wedding

I know someone who was in an established relationship and got married for pensions purposes, they had always swore blind they wouldn’t marry, but they did and she came into Give Me Just A Little More Time. 😂
