When to propose

Hi everyone,

I'm planning to propose to my girlfriend on our summer holidays next month. Been together 10 years.

My question is, should I pop the question after checking in at the hotel, or wait until the next morning we get there ?

Day after on the balcony sounds perfect. Make sure there is fizz or some drinks you like to hand and go for it. Ignore the bitter and twisted posters on here and enjoy the moment.

What a weird and unpleasant thing to say. Who the fuck are you to decide when someone else should get engaged. Maybe they didn't want to before now, maybe she could have proposed if she was that keen, maybe they wanted to really get to know each other.

You don't win a prize for getting engaged quicker you know.

I would vote for sunset/dusk on the balcony and then a nice dinner either out or room service if available.

Because of some events in life, because we didn't want to before, because we are getting settled now, because this feels right, and lot more... what is wrong with people ?
