Hi I'm looking some advice!
I am getting married right in the middle of summer at a glamping site. The ceremony is mostly outdoors, as in our guests are sat outdoors and the aisle I'll walk up is an exposed path under the trees/fairylights then me and my fiancé will stand in a sort of open front shepherds hut to say our vows. We have street food, ice cream, bar and tea and coffee food trucks that will be in one area and are all armed with gazebos for guests so stand under if needed. We have a marquee for the evening with a big dancefloor and tables and chairs etc. Our venue has a few gazebos if we need them on the day, one big enough to go over our guests during the ceremony etc. Is that a solid enough rain plan? I mean if it was torrential we'd have to rearrange the marquee to have the ceremony in there. Our cocktail hour would have to move indoors (it's currently on the grass with lots of outdoor games for kids/adults and live music). I wouldn't really get to walk down the aisle if it was torrential. We will buy some clear umbrellas for if it's just drizzling.
A week or so before we will check forecasts I'm already checking long term ones now like a fool and if it looked like we may have bad weather and be stuck inside all day we would look for a stretch tent or two or something to facilitate more space, maybe? I feel like an idiot for planning such an outdoors wedding but it is our ideal wedding and venue and it is bang in the middle of summer. I won't let it ruin the day, I just need a solid rain plan. Is this enough?
