Traditionally it’s meant to be different people. They are normally mums, MOHs, sisters and of course aunties!

I would speak to her mum to coordinate. If you have any ideas for the items you can say.

Trixiebell06 · 04/07/2021 11:38

I’d love to get her something not quite sure what though 🤔

No idea who its 'traditionally' from.

I had earrings borrowed (after cleaning) from SIL
An old locket from my nan
A new, blue garter from my mum- which I forgot to wear on the day!

Still married 10yrs on though Grin

Meant to say, the locket I had was tiny, and had a picture of my father and grandfather who had both passed away by the time I got married. I had it around my wrist with my bouquet as a little memory of them.

That sounds beautiful Eleoura, sadly my father in
Law passed away a short while ago
I think a locket would be perfect with his photo in it

Silly question but who could I get to put such a tiny photo in the locket please

@Trixiebell06- sorry for the loss of your FIL. I just re-printed a photo of them (a good photocopy could work too), cut it out and used tweezers to put them into the locket. They are designed to be able to do this yourself.

I used my nans old locket, but you can get some inexpensive ones from say argos.

Etsy can be good for this type of thing as well.
