Tier 2 wedding implications

Reading the new guidelines it sounds like up to 15 are not restricted by the two household rule, so you could have everyone on one table rather than multiple small ones. What does everyone else think? It's really not that clear...

It says social distancing should still be followed between people who do not live together or share a support bubble which I think basically means separate tables still. We’re having a large horseshoe-shaped setup with families spaced at appropriate distances around it though.

The thing that gets me about the Tier 2 restrictions is not so much the wedding itself but the implications for the rest of the weekend. We have family travelling here for the weekend who we now can’t even go for lunch or dinner with on the days before/after the wedding Sad

Separate tables
Receptions should be sit down meals to ensure people can keep their distance from each other
You wouldn’t be able to keep distance if you were all on one table.

@CoronaBride2020 how far apart are you spacing everyone if you don't mind my asking?

The caterer and the venue will be sorting it but I guess it’ll be at least a metre.
