What did you do or are you doing for your hen?

What was the best hen you've been to?

What was the worst?

Did it have a theme? And if so what?

Mine was the best I've ever had! Rented out a country house and filled it with booze and food. It had a hot tub and we just got dressed up and danced around with no responsibilities for 2 days - bliss!

For mine recently we stayed in a Cottage in a valley called Chew Magna. It's near Bath and Bristol. We walked to the local pub for dinner on the Friday, spent Sat morning by the pool and had a beauty treatment each, life drawing in the afternoon then a private chef dinner in the evening. Breakfast then home on the Sunday. We had a great time but the best one I went on was Marbella. Cost a small fortune but it was worth it - we had an amazing time! Brighton was the worst. It's so tacky and studenty for a hen. Mine was organised via Acacia Cottages - they are well worth exploring.

I’ve got a DD and will probably be getting married next year (come on DP!) Idle chat with my mum friends and the option they were all most excited about was a nice dinner in town with buckets of wine and partners roped in to do childcare until noon the next day- sounds good to me!

Dd planned mine and went to Disneyland Paris!
It was perfect.
Every aspect was covered and she is incredibly tech savvy so used that to ensure we avoided any queues.
It was heaven and not that expensive.

The worst one was years ago. My ex was a good friend of the groom. The bride invited me and a woman I was good friends with, unfortunately she couldn't make it so I invited my exs sister.
It was boring.
I didn't know anyone else other than the bride and I had nothing in common with her.
We went via coach to a posh hotel in the middle of nowhere. It was the type of place where you would go for a wedding or very lush afternoon tea.
We went in and just say quietly in the lounge, having incredibly expensive drinks.
There was zero atmosphere.
I felt embarrassed having invited my ex sil.
On the journey home some of the bride's friends tried to strip her clothes off. She clung onto me , begging me to stop them.
I just wanted the evening to end and had to politely ask them to stop.

I isn’t have a hen party. They used to be considered a bit tacky and weren’t really something most people did.
My daughter and her fiancé have booked a boutique hotel for a night for a meal and party at New Year with both hens and stags.
