Wedding veil length

Hi,
How long is too long for a wedding veil?
I wanted a long veil, but I’m now worried the one I have ordered is too long. It’s a cathedral veil and is 2.7 metres...
I’m having a traditional church wedding, my dress is elegant and simple, the veil is the same.
What do you think?

I’m not sure of the exact length of mine, but it’s also Cathedral length.

I figured this would be the only time I’d ever get to wear one, so I should just go for it and be dramatic.

I’m only planning to wear it for the church and photos, then take it off for the meal and dancing.

Mine was Cathedral length, and I loved it! Same as Fiona, I just wore it for ceremony & photos. You will spend the day with people hugging you and therefore yanking your head back, that's the only downside, and may happen with other veils?!

This makes me feel better. I really want it long too, but I had second thoughts after I had purchased! I needed some positive reinforcement :)

Fine for a church wedding, I say go for it !!

Stunning! I would have loved a longer veil but I ended up with a relatively long and embroidered train on my dress which I didn't then want to cover up.

I had cathedral length and adored it!

My veil was longer than my dress (although chapel length not cathedral) and I loved the way it looked.

I’d say go for it, it will look stunning.
