Alternative non-dairy addition to cheeseboard

We are having a cheeseboard to be served in the evening, following canapés/fizz at 3 after the ceremony, then a plentiful sit down 2 course at about 5/5.30. There are no additional evening guests so not having an additional buffet. We are sourcing the cheeses ourselves from a local cheese shop and serviced ( ie plates, replenishing ) by the caterers who are supplying the rest of the food for the day.

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas about something extra we could put there for those who are non dairy ? I can’t have cheese myself (sob) but can’t stand the fake vegan cheeses available. I make cashew ‘cheese ‘ but a) I’m not supplying something homemade in this context because of potential food safety concerns b) it’s a bit of a niche taste !

My only thoughts thus far could be tapenade or , at a stretch, the fake ‘feta’ which isn’t as awful. Any ideas for something that can be relatively easily purchased ( good retail access here ) to put along side the board ?

Houmous. Good for dipping and very savoury. Make yourself or buy the better stuff. Not low fat because that is dire.

Hmm, I had thought about that , PickAChew ( major part of my cheese deprived savoury seeking life) but wondered if it might get a bit messy. I’d buy ( food safety concerns) - maybe one of the more interesting flavoured ones.

Vegan or just non dairy?
Pate? (Mushroom if you’re vegan)
Charcuterie Board or smoked salmon?
(obv. not if you are vegan!)
Antipasti things (artichokes, peppers, aubergine caponata)

Non dairy - I had thought there were some vegans but according to the bride, whose friends they are, ‘ flakey, performance vegans who will eat most of that cheese given half a chance ‘ :/ ( I’m MOB) No pork products for other guest reasons. Mushroom pate sounds like a good possibility - nice firm texture, savoury - if I can get one that hasn’t got cream in it !

I have been thinking the same thing, we have a dairy intolerance, and a just "hates cheese".
I was thinking pickles, goats cheese, maybe salami, and houmous.

Antipasti as suggested above and vegan pate (it exists but may be hard to source) would work for me. Also smoked tofu chunks, but that may be a niche taste...

Green and black olive tapenade
Mr Fred's Chopped Herring Pate (Ocado)
Quince paste
Sundried tomatoes
Tracklements Damson Cheese (Ocado)
Ocado even sell a couple of vegan pates! They're the place to shop.

Figs grapes crackers and cheese biscuits?

With you on the nut based "cheeses" being alot better. The sheeze crandberry one is edible also I find.

Stuffed vine leaves etc?

Do you want dairy free or vegan?

I’ve already made a nicely maturing (I hope ! ) batch of damson chutney :) Had a brief look in the shops today and am a bit uninspired by the available non dairy non pork pate type things- don’t want to get into ‘wet’ antipasti type things that would involve forks. This isn’t a cheese course after the meal, it’s a separate late ( 8.30/9pm) nibble / /snack. (That the FOB is very keen on because, bring on the port 😏)
