Help with doing my own makeup

I'm planning on doing my own make up and wondered if anyone had had success doing this and if they had any online tutorials or YouTube videos they could recommend.
I'm brunette and will have had a spray tan done for the day.
I'm looking for a semi natural look that will show up well in photos, not a full on smokey eye but not completely natural looking either. Thanks!

Ooh watching with interest, I'm planning to do my own too.
I'm crap at makeup so I'm planning for me and my sister (good at it) to go for one of those makeup lessons at boots.
There are loads of videos on youtube

YouTube is the best place to start - even Pinterest is really good for inspiration! I do recommend practicing the look over and over again before the big day so that you reduce the chances of it accidentally going wrong for the real thing! Here are a few youtubers I love watching:

Kaushal Beauty
Teni Panosian
Lisa Eldridge
Pixiwoo
Chloe Morello

Hope this helps!

Mac donlessons for £50 and that is redeemable against products. It has to be heavy to show up on the photos unfortunately. I was a bit Shock when I saw mine but the girl assured me it was needed forbthe pictures and wouldn’t look so heavy. She was right I look natural In the pictures. You need more emphasis than normal on your eyes and lips.

Interesting because grooms don't tend wear any and they look fine.

I'm not planning on doing anything different ( wear zip) but have lovely hair. Long eyelashes and good brows go along way.

Thought I'd come back and update!
My sister and I went for a "no7 consultation" at boots. It was great, the girl was really good, used a couple of my products but mostly their stuff (the manager was there at the beginning but after they left she was happy to use my stuff), and talked it though and showed me how to do it all (and my sister). She also listened to what I wanted (quite a natural look).
I ended up buying a couple of things there, but mostly will be using stuff I already have, but now I know what to do with it!
surprises: learning how to use blusher (never got it right before), and lipstick (ditto), and that primer makes quite a difference to foundation and eyeshadow.

We went on a weekday morning btw, and it was really quiet. Appointment was meant to be 40 mins but had well over an hour. The girl doing it said she was glad we'd come as she was really bored!
