Who walked you down the aisle?

I am having a small wedding and the ceremony is in a registry office. I have had my forms through about who will walk me down the aisle but I'm really stuck. My dad isn't in the picture so he is out of the running but who else can do it?

Thanks Smile

No-one. No bridesmaids either!

My DS will be walking down the aisle with me and my future DW will be walked down by her mum it is a same sex wedding so we are doing our own orders and non traditional roles.
For me it was important that DS was given the choice but i would be happy to walk alone, I will be skipping to the end of the aisle!!!

Registry office and we walked in together.

Do you have any brothers? That would be nice. If not Id say whoever said their mum did it that sounded nice but do whatever you feel comfortable with

My DH and I walked down the aisle together hand in hand.
My dad is in the picture, but I'm not his to give away, and I definitely don't belong to DH now.

Have a lovely wedding OP Flowers

Like pps, I have no patience with this infaltilising 'tradition' and DH and I strolled in together with our witnesses.

Charlotte Bronte was given away by her old headmistress as her stroppy father refused to show up on the day. Just an idea... Grin

My eldest dd is going to walk down with me. She's only 6 and is going to be my 'best girl'. I don't see it as it being given away though because obviously I'm hers forever!

My dad is still around but it would feel very strange to be given away by him.

My sisters.
Dad out of the picture for me too, mum passed away when I was a teen.
Loved walking down the isle with my two sisters.
Hope you have a wonderful wedding day.
