Clara I love Tenerife sea by ed Sheeran too! I wants kiss me by ed Sheeran but DP was dead set against it!

We had It Must Be Love by Madness

A million love song - take that

We had Pete Doherty- for lovers

We're having an acoustic version of 'My Love' Jess Glynn. Not a typical first dance song as it's an acoustic of a dance song but we both like it and didn't want anything too cheesy.

Our second choice was Take That A Million Love Songs...muchas cheese!

But was torn was we love it!

We went with Tim Minchin 'You grew on me' had most people in stitches which distracted from our super wooden choreographed dance - We had a billion lessons which were great fun but were still rubbish on the day!

Thank you, some great suggestions, dp doesn't like 'soppy' traditional songs, he finds them depressing! Sure we will agree on one soon

What about Bat out of Hell by Meat Loaf - quite meaningful lyrics and not the usual soppy dirge.

DH refused to dance with me at our wedding. Still happily married 20 years on, but it never occurred to us to have a first dance song. Think I danced first with a toddler then my pissed best male friend from school, all to indie folk. Not very helpful.

Nothing's gonna change my love for you by Glenn Mediros. I wanted the Westlife version but DH wasn't having it!

We had "No matter what" by Papa Roach. I'm sure we got a few faces but was perfect for us.

Although I really wanted either "How long will I love you" by Ellie Goulding or "Thinking out loud" by Ed Sheeren but DH hates that kind of music.
