childrens activities - what to put them in?

I have 10 children coming to the wedding varying in age between 11 months and 12 years. Wedding just under a year away but trying to be organised!

Anyway I am putting together chlidrens activity packs depending on their age but I so far collected the following (roughly)

cuddly toys (new)
baby toys
games
lots of books
crafty things (but no glue/paint!)
colouring stuff
my little pony
etc

so to the point - what could I use to put the stuff in for each individual child? bags? boxes? Any advice graetfully received! I need something fairly big as they each will have a lot of stuff, or the younger ones will anyway. They will be taking these home with them as well.

I may have gone OTT but I want the children to be occupied and their parents to enjoy the day!

Ideally a box like those build-a-bear come in, you know, with the handles at the top?

Or canvas bags?

Yes there's loads of nicely decorated ones on eBay that can be made to match your colour scheme.

I got some cotton shopper bags on ebay for£1.49 each then usee iron on t shirt transfer paper to write the childs name on

I had 23 children ( yes, 23!) at my wedding a few years ago.

I made up activity bags for the children and put them in gift bags - just the regular shiny gift bags.

Various items as had ages ranging from 2 yo to 12 yo. I didn't go mad and spend a lot though. the Pound Shop is a good place to start :)

these bags are cheap and come in lots of colours. you could include fabric pens for the older ones to decorate. I would say pink for the girls and some jaunty colours for the younger ones

Bags are easier than boxes. Either gift bags (£ Shop) or fabric ones like in SquidgyMummy's link

those fabric bags on the ebay link look great. much classier than my blingy gift bags.

I wish I could remember now what we put in the bags.

I know the older DC got pens and notepads, as they were writing rude notes to each other at the top table.

I went to a wedding and they gave DS1 an aquadraw set (no paint just water). He loved it, still has it now, years later!

We really appreciated it, that the couple thought to provide something when they must have had so many other things to think about!
