Children's activity bags at weddings

Hello,
Just thinking of good things to put in the little bags I am planning for all the kids who are coming to our wedding, and would welcome any good suggestions! There will be 25-odd kids, most of whom will be aged 3-5, with a few 7 year olds and then a few 2 year olds. I'd like to have these little activity/goody bags for them for when they arrive at the reception after the ceremony (about 4pm) and am trying to think of cheapish things that will keep them occupied for as long as poss! The wedding is in July and we will mostly be outside in a big garden. So far just thinking bubbles/colouring in sheets and pens - that sort of stuff. Any more interesting or original ideas would be most welcome ...

As an alternative idea, we 'hired' DD2's childminder for the day to keep the younger children occupied - we had a total of 15 kids of 6 and under! She brought a load of her own activities with her, and we added a lot of the things people have already mentioned - colouring books, skipping ropes etc, but as a big box of central supplies rather than individual bags. She also kept the older kids - the 4 to 6 age group - on a special kids' table at the reception, which meant we could have a good old natter with friends/family. It was well worth the money.

I had so much fun making the activity packs for our wedding! They each had bubbles, a tattoo, an activity book, colouring pencils, something for their hands. We used www.allaboutpartybags.co.uk/ although I second the pound shop idea!
