Which weather report do I believe?

Looking at my IPhone weather app, and cross checked with the bbc weather for my area, how can they be so different on some of the days? Particularly Monday 23rd? Which one do I go with, there’s a bit of a difference between full sun 29° and 21° and rainy.

Take your pick, it’s all guesswork anyway.

Because it’s too far out to tell. Too many variables this far away

I use open-the-window.com

😜😜

I've noticed this discrepancy too. On my Met office weather app it will say for example,23 degrees with a 10% chance of rain, but on the BBC weather website it will say 28 degrees and a 60% chance of rain. And then the weather on LBC will say something different to both of those!

The BBC one often leans towards the extreme end of the forecast, so I tend to look at the Met Office one, particularly for wind, and whether we are going to get a frost or not (keen gardener). Frost not so relevant at this time of year obvs.

Take notice what the source is. Anything from wyx charts can be disregarded, it's a US model with continental patterns.

All forecasts have a probability so if its very close 2 different sources may have different forecasts.

I find Netweather is best.

Because each uses different models or different averages of models or applies weightings to different models and their components. So, best use the one that
seems to track best for your particular area.
