OYBBK - any chance of a forecast? (being VERY cheeky!)

Hi there - I know I'm being cheeky but I've gotten myself so confused trying to see what the weather is going to be next weekend

I'm doing the 3 peaks challange and I think we're going to be stopped by the weather

Would you do your weather thang and look at what Ben Nevis is gonna be like Sat 12th between 5pm and 10pm, Sca Fell Sun 13th between 4am and 8am and Snowdon on Sunday between 1 and 5pm!

I would be forever grateful

Ben Nevis - maybe some light rain.

Scafell - looking dry now, but perhaps cloudy, so temps may not drop so sharp.

snowdon - perhaps some light rain. Just watch the wind a bit as close on the heels of your climb a storm system seems to be coming in to the north of Scotland - with perhaps some strong winds extending towards the Snowdon region. Dont dilly for too long!

Dont forget to switch to the mountain weather service in a couple of days for more expert and detailed forecasts!

Well theres an incentive to get off Snowdon quickly if ever there was one

I think the forecast for Shropshire has got a little better, or is it my imagination?He has prepared for every eventuality anyway.

it has got a little better :) the rain seems to move through rather faster tomorrow (I think the whole system is a quicker to come and go)

fast moving rain sounds good to me.

Wow! Can I hijack too? Just need to know weather for London, Monday and Tuesday next week. No hiking, just need to know what to pack for new job!

lol at inside scoop - have you seen how my forecasts change daily at the moment!
I'm afraid Monday looks wet and it looks like part of tuesday will be too. Potentially quite gusty, so I wouldnt rely on an umbrella to stay the correct shape. Temps low teens I think.

actually, starting to get tempted to tell everyone the answer is 'wet' which would probably be a fairly accurate answer and if its not correct then its a nice surprise!

I am at how much tomorrow's forecast has changed for Shropshire since yesterday. Warm has been mentioned now and the rain clearing and not 'heavy'. he may even put a t-shirt on.

fear not whojam :) you might have a bit of a wet start saturday but I think you will be fine Sunday :)

besides, the wet weather today ended up being pretty much on forecast (though we didnt end up with the large amounts progged)

Snowdon - watch those winds increasing in the afternoon and the weather beginning to deteriorate if you hang around too long.

Starting to get butterflies now

we are off up to Scotland at lunchtime today and will start on Ben Nevis at 5pm tomorrow. Hopefully we will be down Snowdon before the weather gets too bad (camping Sunday night could be interesting tho
