Meals after nurseries - what do you do?

Not quite sure where to post this but hoping you can help!

Ds (1yo) is now at nursery 3 days a week, 8am-6pm while he's there he has breakfast, lunch and tea and snacks in between. The lunch is quite substantial, the tea less so but still hot meal iykwim. The tea is at about 4pm so when he gets home he's hungry so needs something. He goes to bed at about 7.30 and is bf just before bed.

My dilemma is what to give him at 6pm? He wants to bf but as i'm only feeding him twice a day don't have enough to feed then and again at bedtime (and that is the only way he'll (usually!) sleep through). Don't want to give him more milk as he's having morning/afternoon milk at nursery. He won't eat things like cereal/bread. He loves fruit but he has that quite a bit at nursery so don't want him to have too much. What something easy as I'm knackered after work and want to spend the time before he goes to bed with him not trying to cook as well!

Any ideas? What do you do?

Thank you!

Omelette obviously!

A toasted bagel and fruit or yoghurt - something quick and easy.

humm, maybe I should try him with an omelette again - last time I tried he wouldn't even put it in his mouth!

I've tried toast with him so many times and he just won't have it, I think it's the texture he doesn't like. Haven't tried a bagel for a while though and the texture of that is different so maybe I should try that again.

Thanks!

Any other ideas anyone?
