12months, milk in bottle or cup?

Not sure if this should be in here but hopefully someone will be able to help.
DS is now on 3 meals a day with snacks and has a milk feed in the morning and before bed. I still give these to him in a bottle but should I be moving him onto a cup? He has water from a sippy cup during the day which he loves to shake about and shower himself with
In the mornings he comes into our room and has his milk with us in bed (so we get 5 minutes peace to have a cuppa) I can imagine that a cup might cause some rather damp bedding. Do I need to worry about moving him off his bottle, he also finds it soothing at night so am reluctant to get rid incase he stops sleeping!

You can try him with a cup. Maybe start with the morning feed and see how he gets on? You can get non-spill 'sippy cups' in Boots or most supermarkets to start off with.

You'll get a range of answers. Some people move their babies on to cups before they are one, others are still givng a bedtime bottle at 3 yrs.

I found a nuby cup really useful during the transition from bottles 'leaky' cups. These or the ones with handles, the teat/spout is the same. Unlike most non-spill cups it's actually possible to drink from them!

Thanks will try with just the morning feed and take a look at the Nuby one, have an ever increasing selection!
Also meant to ask I know now he's one he needs a minimum of 12oz of milk a day but when does this change? Ie when she he roughly be dropping either one of his am or pm milk feeds. I know they're all different but would like a vague idea of what I'm aiming towards!
