Grapes & raisins what age?

My DD is 9mo and primarly BLW (porridge is spoon fed- I can't abide the sticky mess in her hair up her nose etc!!). At what age can I give her grapes and raisins? I thought about cutting grapes in half but still seems like a choking hazard? Also do you have to peel them?

Re raisins, her pincer grip is starting to develop, she can easily pick up peas and small debris on her tray not so good at getting it back in her mouth but I'm sure that will come. My DH just asked if she can have raisins yet but again I'm worried about choking.

TIA

I quartered grapes at that age but didnt peel them (I peeled them for my pfb but it is very fiddly and messy so ds's didnt get the same treatment). Raisins should be ok too although when dd had her first one she gummed it for ages and ages and then spat it out and it was 3 times the size it was when it first went in!!

My DS is 8 1/2 mo and we've just started giving him halved grapes. I didn't bother peeling them - he mostly spits the skins out, otherwise they come through whole. And he loved them.

Haven't tried raisins yet, but I'm sure I will do soon.
