Premature baby; when can I ditch the formula?

Hello all
DS arrived 8 weeks early nearly a year ago. He is still breast fed morning and night but has formula during the day at nursery or if I am not available for any reason.
Does anyone know if I can replace the formula with normal cow's milk at a year as you normally would, or should I wait until a year corrected age?
He is eating well and so it would only be for the occasional feed now.
Thanks

Fine to go to cows milk for the occasional feeds at a year imo

I dont know the answer.. but ds was 4 weeks early and I erred on the side of caution and didnt switch to cows milk till 4 weeks after his 1st b/day

My DS was 12 wks early weighing 1lb 14oz. He was on prescribed formula milk after i stopped breastfeeding because of his size and them at 12mths he moved onto follow on milk. I stopped giving him that and went onto cows milk at 18 months. this is what SCBU Dr's recommended for mine but every baby is different, I would ask SCBU at his clinic appointment unless he has been discharged.

Just to add...For developmental stuff and weaning etc SCBU always told me to go by his corrected age so he weaning at 7 months etc. Hope this helps.

To add to your confusion, SCBU told me that as far as feeding was concerned go by actual age. (My 2 were born 8 weeks early). However as we failed to start weaning at 6 months, they weren't ready till just over 7 months, I'm also planning to err on cautious side and go with corrected age.
