14month old - how much milk should he have?

I have a 14 month old who was BF until 11 months when I went back to work. Since then he has had 3 cups of cows milk - one in the morning when he gets up, one in the afternoon and one a night before he goes to bed.

He has a great appetite for food (BLW approach)
and I always presumed as he grew older he would drop a milk drink. However some days he drinks all 3 cups of milk and other days he has a bit of all them.

What should I be giving him? Or does it not matter? Was thinking of stopping the afternoon drink.

He drinks water with his meals and whenever he wants it.

Advice appreciated.

Thanks.

They're supposed to have about a pint a day but that can include milk in cooking, yoghurt etc.

If he has a good appetite I'd carry on doing exactly what you are doing, sounds fine.

the minimum recommended from 1 year is 350mls (approx 12oz) and anything between 12-20oz is ok. It's up to you whether you want to stop offering one of the cups of milk. You can always make up for the missing milk through his food e.g. yoghurt, cheese, milk with cereal, etc

Thanks for the that.

He eats yoghurt and milk on his cereal so I guess he is getting more than enough. I'll keep going for now and see what happens
