1 year old - feeling like an inadequate Mum with slow progress

My daughter just turned one and I'm getting worried that she isn't eating like other one year olds I see. So feeling a bit anxious - advice (even if it is 'don't worry' or 'your one year old is the same') would be really reassuring and helpful. She has two bottom teeth just showing if that helps.

I've tried BLW with rice cakes, rusks/biscuits, banana, organic corn rings/carrot puffs (all of those she will eat). But anything else (toast, apples, melon, strawberries, cheese, carrots, other veg to name but a few) all gets thrown on the floor. I've bought jars of food and tried mushing our food down. Mushed carrots and veg she will eat and any fruit puree. But anything with meat in it gets the spoon pushed away and anything with lumps gets spat out (no way she will eat 10month or 12 month jars/meals they sell or even scrambled egg).

I see other 1 year olds munching apples, sandwiches, scrambled egg, fish.... you name it. Any suggestions would be great. She also demands food about every 2 hours and ends up having 6 meals a day (has quite a tummy) so I'd love to reduce the biscuits/rusks and get some protein and better quality foods in!! She has milk with cereal in the morning, a lunchtime milk bottle to get a nap to work and evening bottle. Rest of the day she has water. (I confess all still in a baby bottle as I've also not cracked the cup thing despite multiple attempts (and brands) denying the baby bottle - but I end up worrying she will dehydrate.)

Thanks so much
Gilliana

I have a friend who's DD was exactly the same would only eat smooth purees and chunks of bread and ham at 12 months and now at 16 months she has suddenly become more adventurous(sp??) since we have started having lunch together after swimming once a week and she has watched my DD and 'shared' things off my DD's plate.

It will come with time keep giving her things and it will all come together.
