Any suggestions for 7 mth old breakfast?

I weaned early as advised by paed due to reflux so my dS is well established on protein etc. However he has completely gone off breakfast. He doesn't have huge amounts of food and he has approx 20oz milk per day now. I have tried porridge, weetabix, youghurt, plain fromage frais, all mixed with different fruit, but he's just not having it!! Shall I just not try for a while and give it a go in a week or two again? I just worry because he is quite small anyway, due to months of reflux , so I want him to get as many calories as possible. He's not putting on enough weight to remain on his centile line.
Does anyone have any other ideas as to what to give him for breakfast? Is it normal for babies to not paricuarly favour this meal?

Sorry, I seem to have asked hundreds of questions!!

DD is still not very keen on breakfast and she is almost 14 months. Does he have finger foods? Could you give him a bit of banana to hold and chew at?

Is it just that he doesn't want to eat first thing in the morning? Or is it the food on offer? What does he eat at lunch and supper time? If he just has a preference for other food give him that, it doesn't matter what time of day it is or if it not 'conventional' breakfast food.

Or, if he just doesn't want to eat first thing, try offering food late morning, and then maybe offering six smaller meals instead of three main ones?

scrambled egg and toast fingers
waffles
cheerios (they like picking them up with their fingers!)
rice crispies or rice puffs
cornflakes

I think it's just what I am offering him that is te problem.... for lunch he'll have a chicken, fish etc. Annabel karmel type thing which goes down ok. He's not a great feeder due to reflux anyway, but thank you for your suggestions, I will try and be less conventional in what i offer him for breakfast! Are cheerios, rice crispies, cornflakes etc. quite sugary?
