DD is 12 mo, has been doing BLW since 6 months, eats 3 meals a day and snacks. Still eats with her hands, will sometimes try a spoon. She is still BF (2/3 times a day).

Is she fully weaned?

no, you introduce solids to wean off the breast/formula. So, IMO she is not weaned for as long as she's taking any breastmilk.

I dont agree. I think it is when solids are the main part of the diet and the milk is just to supplement that i.e. more of a drink rather then the main source of nutrition.

Agree with Seona. When baby is on 3 meals a day and snacks and has a bottle feed 2 or 3 times a day, mainly because they have to have 1 pint a day. I'd consider fully weaned when the food is the main part of the diet.

This makes more sense if you use North American terms/meanings, IMO.
They use 'introducing solids' when we would say 'weaning' . 'Weaning' means weaning from the breast, at whatever age. I think this is much clearer than the British use of these terms. (Although I really hate the word 'solids' when applied to food)

So I agree with Tortilla, she's not weaned yet. However, she has definitely gone beyond the introduction stage with solids.
