dd is 7 months old and weve been doing this for about a month. i spent a lot of time making veg puree but she's not that keen. she's also not that keen on finger food such as brocilli. she does love ella's kitchen veg puree, fruit and bread sticks, cheese on toast etc. im worried that she isnt getting enough veg. the hv says that it's important that babies try more veg than fruit so as to stop them getting a sweet tooth but she loves fruit. ella's kitchen veg puree has fruit in it which is why she likes it so much. i am still ex bf so not worried about vitamins as she also gets those but i want her to develop a taste for veg. help!

In veggie puree's I'd sometimes put a bit of grated cheese or a teaspoon of cashew butter just to give it a creamier taste. Cashew butter also high in protein

Stop fretting and offer both and just let her go for what she fancies . It all works out in the end, don't worry

You could try putting extra veg like spinach, broccoli, cauli in with the Ella's Kitchen pouch. I have to hide most of my DTs' food in sweet potato/parsnip.

I also found mixing veg purees with milk and baby rice made them go down well at that age.

I'd just puree the veg, then put milk in and then sprinkle the baby rice over until it was a thicker consistency.
