Well they do have peanuts in them....and quite a lot of sugar but it depends on what your feelings are about that!

every day - no
every once in a while, just a few - fine.

trixymalixy · 09/02/2009 11:04

I would avoid them because of the nuts mainly.

I thought nuts were ok as long as they were not whole? They are very small in the crunchy nut?

Didn't realise it had lots of sugar though.

if you don't have a history of nut allergy in your family then as a treat fine

soon2befamilyof4 · 09/02/2009 11:17

No history of any allergies what so ever.

Unless you have allergy worries then the main issue is sugar. Ingredients (with the sugar in bold) are:

"Maize, Brown Sugar (Sugar, Molasses), Peanuts (7%), Sugar, Honey (2%), Barley Malt Flavouring, Salt, Glucose-Fructose Syrup, Niacin, Iron, Vitamin B6, Riboflavin (B2), Thiamin (B1), Folic Acid, Vitamin B12."

I personally wouldn't want a baby under 2yrs eating anything with that amount of added sugar in...just encourages them to crave such foods later in life.

Gosh I really didn't know they had so much sugar in them! How do people manage to eat this in the "2 meals for 2 weeks - drop a jean size" thing?

Because it's a weighed portion of about 3 flakes

Lol.
