Puree feeders help! DD off her breakfast

HI there, after a couple of weeks of 3 meals a day my DD (6 months) seems to have gone of the idea of breakfast, which in turn means she wants lunch super early How long do you leave between your milk feed in the morning and breakfast? Have any of you struggled with something similar?

I have always fed the breakfast at 7 am and then offered the milk afterwards at around 7.30

Hmmm yes, this may be the way to go... still no joy this morning at it will soon be morning nap time.

I usually wait an hour after milk for breakfast.
He usually eats weetabix or something like that, but if he ever doesnt eat it then I make toast fingers and let him hold them while DS1 eats his toast and he does tend to eat a bit then...

Milk at 7, breakfast at 8.30ish

TrinityRhino · 02/12/2008 09:02

my advice would be to stop being a 'puree feeder'

DD has a bf around 7.30am and then breakfas about 8.15am.

Try leaving an hr between milk and breakfast if you don't already.

@ Trinity Rhino - I knew one of "you" would sneak in soon enough!

Well she managed a few token spoonfuls before she went down for her nap just now so I'm happy. I just find it odd as she eats loads at lunch and dinner (about 125g of veggie/carb and then 100g of yoghurt/fruit).

sorry

but snigger @ actually knowing the grammage (that should be a word) of how much she has eaten
honestly though, no good can come of it, go on, jump into the unknown, you will love it

Mine normally eats well but will occasionally go off a meal or not want much. I think they just feel less hungary on some days.
I do breakfast followed by milk then more milk at around 11am and lunch about an hour later.
