Good sippy cups?

DS is not taking a huge amount of milk or water from his doidy or his tommee tippee plastic cup, can anyone recommend any better cups for a 10 mo? With a tight lid!

Are you looking for something that flows out easily or that they have to suck?

If you want one with no valve then we are having some success with the NUK first choice learner cup.

I was going to say, if you have an ikea near you, we bought a set from there whihc was about £1.60 and had a plastic bib, cup, spoon and bowl. But the cup in it, had a lid and spout, but the water poors right out and flows easily. My DD perfers it if she has milk in, but comes out a bit fast if she has water (as she only likes a little bit of water).

Is that the IKEA frog set? It completely rocks. inc. the spoon which has a good narrow bowl. The cup is great because it's freeflow - unfortunately DD threw it on the ground when she was about 1 and broke it.

Since then we've used a Mothercare one that's clear with a blue or pink top and comes with training rings (haven't used them). I took the valve out, though, so that it's also freeflow. Rather that some water gets splashed around than that it requires a lot of sucking to get anything out.

the valve is just the round bit of plastic at the bottom of the spout, btw.

I can't find it on the Mothercare site now.
