those links are good but i must be really thick or something because ...well..what exactly do you do?

baby monster isn't old enough yet (he is 16 weeks ) but i am a chronic plan aheaderer

i will have weaned all of mine diferently as this rate lol!

Is it as simple as waiting until 6 months and giving them a rice cake? surely that can't be right??

well don't start with rice cakes, they're revolting

wait till 6m
sit ds in highchair
place fruit or steamed veg (carrot sticks are good, or ripe pear slices with the skin on) on tray
sit at table and eat your own lunch
clean up

BlueDragonfly · 24/06/2008 12:18

ds2 still eats rice cakes! he likes the way they stick to his tongue

now, can i do that as well as doing the puree thing? ie- give pureed carrot while ds3 is "eating" steamed carrot?

I must say i did quite like pureeing for ds2(poor ds1 was completely jar fed)

you can but why bother?
so long as he's still having lots of milk he doesn;t need the extra carrot spooned in
