Ikea do a great one. It also has an inflatable bit that keeps LO in when not sitting up properly.

The Ikea Antilop - 15 quid with the tray. Fab, and you can hose it down, take the legs off and put it in the car, leave it outside on the patio, and take the tray off and use it at the table.

Can't go wrong at that price either !

yousaidit · 20/06/2008 13:20

Cmotdibbler: is that the white onw with thw four silver leghs that you just shove in? if so, it si absolutely fab, my sis bought dd a chicco polly highchair ( i couldn't have affordede it!) and dd loves the ikea one at my parents house instead! Bah!

DragonsEye · 20/06/2008 13:23

yes, the ikea one is the best. Cheap, easy to clean, slimline, understated.

Enid · 20/06/2008 13:24

the ikea one is brilliant and I used it for my first two with no probs - be warned though dd3 (aka SuperGirl) pushed it over by pushing her feet agains the table

we bought a stokke tripp trapp when she was 1 which has been great

cmotdibbler · 20/06/2008 13:26

It is. So simple, and easy to store.

DS has a tripp trapp at home, but we have the Antilop for visitors and for going away

designerbaby · 20/06/2008 13:26

I like/bought the BabyDan one... you can find it on amazon - it's essentially a Tripp Trapp but for half the price

DD very happy in it...

If you're short of space but have enough table space to seat her (remember that in a few months' time she'll be swiping at anything within reach) then a strap-on booster is probably your best bet. We've got this one and it's very good, but you might be better off with a reclining one with shoulderstraps. Early Years and First Years are both good makes IME.

Has anyone used this one is it any good ? I so anyone know where it's in stock ?

they have them in the canteen lilyloo, so you can really check them out beforehand. but yes, imo v sturdy indeed.

AitchNunsnet · 20/06/2008 14:29

the tchibo one is quite good, apparently, but it's sold out and they don't have them in v often. there's normally a mad rush on here to buy them.

lilyloo · 20/06/2008 14:54

oh right thanks
will get to Ikea then and try one first !
