Feeding and not taking her milk

So my baby had bronchiolitis 2 weeks ago and now just have a slight cough in the morning and before bed.
She wasn't taking her milk so I tried giving 90ml every 1hr 30 which worked.

Then she went to 1 x 210ml and 4 x180ml. Before illness she had 210ml x 5 daily no fussyness at all.

The past 2 days some of her bottles have been a real struggle to get her to drink.

I read that for her weight she needs 720ml daily minimum. she is 7.2kg
Today she had

8am Bottle 1 210ml
10:45 Bottle 2 60ml with a struggle
2:00 Bottle 3 180ml
3:00 purree courgette 3 teaspoons and 20ml water
4:30Bottle 4 130ml
Bottle 5 30ml and then 10ml 30min later.

yesterday was the same and the night before.
Should I be worried? is she getting egnouth or if this continues should I contact g. p?

If you are still getting a number of wet diapers per day you are ok and with that amount of liquid I am almost sure you are fine as that is a lot from a fluid perspective (i understands it might be slightly under the calorie requirements to support long-term growth but that is much less important over a few days or a week). Also, at 7kg I assume they are 6 months plus and so they can manage for a while with too low a calorie count as long as they get enough fluids so just focus on fluid levels. When it got too bad with my lot because they both at times went a day or two not drinking their bottle due to uncomfortable sinuses I even used extra large syringes to get some liquids in and also gave them lots of grapes, oranges etc (i.e. high water content fruit).

Then just get as much milk as possible in them but honestly the amount you described sounds more than enough to keep them very well hydrated (the doctor's test is always do they do a number of wet diapers in a day). They will suddenly recover their appetite when recovered.

The milk feeds sound quite close together. At around 4 months my babies went closer to 4 hours between feeds so maybe youre just offering milk too often and she needs larger bottles less often

Absolutely do not worry yet. If she’s bright and alert at times and you’re getting a decent nappy output I would just take her lead.

Was just wondering about offering single veg though at 6.5 months. Is this something that you’ve been advised to do because you or her DF have severe allergies or she does?

Usually from 6 months they can have pretty much anything. The NHS have this list of foods to avoid giving babies and avd this guide from the Caroline Walker Trust has some great ideas for first foods to try on page 19, I think.

If you do want to give fruit and veg at this stage, how about banana-cado which is quite calorie dense?
