Really struggling with weaning recipes my boy will eat

Really struggling with weaning recipes my boy will eat. He is doing a mix of baby lead weaning and puree because he eats better on the puree, hes freaked out by lumps and spits them out so blw is purely texture. I make him foods and let him pick at it, and also puree some so he eats too. Helps him sleep better.
But everything is so salty! If I make something home made with vegetables he wont touch it. But he would eat a ready meal version. Like Spaghetti bolognese, I made a recipe that was baby friendly and he was absolutely disgusted. But I had a ready meal bolognese and gave him a bit as he was begging and he loved it.
He will eat my mac and cheese but I cant only feed him mac and cheese.
He loved the fish in butter sauce I had from aldi. Again, salty. Fish recipe online, hated it. Just dont know what to make him, I worry about him having too much salt

If you don’t want him to eat the salty alternatives, then don’t give them to him at all.

How old is he?

Weaning they d on t need to eat lots - it’s learning about taste and texture and it can take many repeats of a taste or texture before they will eat it
whatever you do, dont give the child a taste for unhealthy food in an attempt to get them to eat - it’s not needed , he’s not going to starve , he’s weaning

cheese is also very salty!! You need to stop giving him the adult foods.

If you give him unhealthy options he will develop a preference for them.

Offer him the spaghetti bolognese you made. If he doesn't eat it, he's not that hungry.

If he's under 1, milk should be his main source of nutrition and food is just to get used to different tastes and textures, which isn't happening if you're panicking about him "eating enough" and giving him foods you'd prefer him not to eat.

How old is he? Stop giving him ready meals, firstly. Weaning just takes patience. Keep offering him healthy, home-cooked food and he'll get it eventually.

A lot of the food mine ate for the first few months was really basic. Eg. Toast fingers, cut up banana, scrambled egg. Or just pick one or two non-salty components of whatever your eating to try him with eg. If you making bolognese, he might eat the plain pasta you make to go with it and maybe some raw pepper straps you could put to one side while cooking.
