Best spoon for BLW?

DD is 7 months and I intended to wean her on a combination of purees and finger foods like I did with DS, but she refuses to be spoon fed so I've had to switch to BLW. I'm still wanting to teach her how to feed herself with a spoon for "wetter" meals as she doesn't really like using her hands for those. Does anyone have any recommendations for a good BLW spoon please?

A small one rather than a long, spook feeding type one. Load it for her. Oooh I loved weaning. I wish I was a job 😆

A slotted spoon from panda ear. They're short and hold food brilliantly. Great for teething as well

I have to say, with DS weaning was just a job I had to do but I'm really enjoying watching how capable DD is. It's amazing what she can bite off and chew without any teeth.

Thank you, sorry if it's a bit dim but what are the slots for?

I liked the doddl cutlery, handles designed to fit in their chubby little hands 🥹

They hold the food in better for when baby is wielding it like it's excalibar

Spoken like a mum who needs sleep! They don't hold much but they are great for porridge and yogurt etc you just push them into the food. Also great with any rice dishes.

Great thank you, stuff like rice is exactly what we need them for! She's great with toast fingers, pasta etc but doesn't seem to like getting her hands into anything too messy.

Just a simple teaspoon - one to hold and eat with and one to drop on the floor 🤭

I'm weaning my second and haven't ever bought any baby-specific cutlery.
