if you are going to drop anything, drop the food ! milk is the primary source of nutrition for the first year.

what does he eat for breakfast, lunch & dinner

and how much milk is he drinking?

does not matter if he is on the top percentile. some babies are on the top, some the bottom, some in the middle, has his lenght been measured? then you know if he is in proprotion.

he will throw back up what his system cannot contain!

are you offering milk before food? and letting him eat when he is hungry

it';s lulumama, by the way !

my two were doing that same timetable you have until a year old. I think maybe at about 11 months dd dropped the mid morning bottle but she still has afternoon milk.

Babies are not meant to be thin.

If he's eating/drinking it happily then it's probably because he's hungry. Carry on as you are, he'll let you know when he's ready to drop a feed.

At seve months old a baby doesn't really need food, the only reason we start weaning before this is to introduce them to flabours, tastes and textures. If you are worried about babies weight it is better to cut out the food, and keep the milk feeds up as this will keep all the nutrients baby needs gong inot it's system.

Sounds fine for a 7mo. If you find he is waiting longer for the mid am or pm feed so that it is almost at a mealtime again(say less than an hour before) then he probably is ready to drop it or offer smaller amount after the meal(so this may get a bit earlier for a short while).

Ours dropped them between 9 months and just over a year but dd preferred late afternoon to a bedtime feed. He may seem chubby now but he may well stop gaining for a while as he becomes mobile and burns off the calories.

my ds dropped his mid-morning feed first around 9 months and then dropped his mid-afternoon one around 10 1/2 months. I only dropped them when ds was losing interest in them so be guided by your lo. Your routine sounds fine for your lo's age so I'd stick with it if it is suiting both of you.
